*Due to the legalities of having student performers, DUPB will not allow a DU student band to perform at Music Fest unless its members are majority University of Denver students. Please note that KVDU does not agree with this decision as it limits the musical opportunities of the community, but has agreed to comply with it so that the show can go on. We're sorry for an inconvenience this may cause you, and if you have any questions, concerns, or comments please do not hesitate to contact us!

1. Band must be a DU Band (A majority of the members must be DU students)

2. If your band is selected, attendance for band members is mandatory for all of the following dates and times. If you cannot attend, please do not enter:

i. Pre-Show Meeting - Saturday, May 2th at 10am. Attendance for all band members is preferred, but not mandatory.

ii. Battle of the Bands - Saturday, May 9th. Arrival times TBD. Show time 7pm, tentatively.

iii. May Days Music Fest (Winners Only) - Thursday, May 21st. Set up will begin around 12pm

3. All pyrotechnics and stage diving are frowned upon.

4. There will be two winners. Winners will receive the opening slots to DUPBÕs Music Fest. There will be no form of compensation for non-winning bands. Sorry.

5. Winning bands from any previous KVDU Battle of the Bands will not be allowed to re-enter.

6. Due to time constraints, there will be a limit on the number of bands that will be able to perform. Applying for Battle of the Bands does not guarantee a spot in the show. Bands selected will be notified shortly after the registration ends.

7. Registration for Battle of the Bands will begin April 14th and end April 20th.
